Lounge chair.

This is a chair that has been made to relax in with it’s low back rest and wide seat. The straight octagonal legs offer a stoutness and gives the chair some visual weight, while the spindles pass all the way through the seat and are wedged from the underside for strength. In this chair the saddle has no pommel (seat ridge), which gives it a contemporary look. Removing the pommel also allows the sitter to shift left or right in the seat without interference. The arms are quite curved and have small hand holds that look like it’s reaching out to you. It’s a perfect chair for the fireplace. Shown here is a chair finished pumpkin milk paint and oil.
