Two chairs nearly complete

Closing in on completing the two captain’s chairs made in oak with pine seats and finished in a juniper milk paint. The chair on the left requires another coat of oil, while the chair on the right has been sanded back and ready to receive two more coats of paint. It’s wonderful to see the oil finish add depth to the painted surface and to see the beautiful wood grain beneath it!
