Finishing a lounge chair

In preparation for the winter fair at Mamhilad Park Estate in December, I am putting the finishing touches to a range of chairs I have made. This lounge chair has a sweet potato milk paint finish that reflects the autumn colours that are around outside perfectly. It sits well amongst the other chairs I have made and today it will have it’s third and final coat of milk paint before oiling. I have also been working on some other chairs that I will be finishing over the next couple of weeks and hope to get some photo’s of them against the backdrop that I have set up in the studio in due course.
