Studio photography

2026 begins with finishing and photographing the latest chair commission from the Castell Carreg studio. It feels so good to be able to work on such a range of projects in the workshop, from designing and planning new chair designs, to crafting the chairs using time honoured joinery techniques, historic finishing using milk paint, to documenting the processes from start to finish. This custom made chair here in the studio, will be venturing off to it’s new forever home in the next couple of weeks. Upcoming projects from the workshop include two new chairs, all designed and made inhouse. Keep an eye out for these new designs to be documented shortly in this online journal.
